Buenos Aires, January 17 (NA) -- Gisela de Yurka, the 41-year-old woman who was found dead in a hotel in the Recoleta neighborhood along with her 7-year-old son, had eleven cuts on her forearms and two on her neck. According to Argentine News Agency, the minor, identified as Gabriel Saru Ovejero, and his mother were lifeless in the bathtub of room 306 when hotel staff entered the room because they had not received any news from the guests who were supposed to check out. Staying at the location on Marcelo T. de Alvear 1300 since January 15 (the night before the discovery), Yurka and Saru Ovejero were next to 'a scalpel in a soap dish and two insulin syringes,' according to official sources. The cuts on the mother's body were confirmed by official experts who are still investigating the cause of death of both, as there were no signs of forced entry and the room was not in disarray. The teacher and her son had been missing since January 15, when their family issued a statement asking for their prompt reappearance: 'We are looking for Gisela de Yurka, 41, and Saru Ovejero, 7.' The case is under the purview of the Criminal Correctional Prosecutor's Office 59, led by Laura Belloqui, which ordered the initial proceedings to investigate the causes of death.
